A Night at Night Safari

Hi, everyone....haha, i think i have to start off with an apology again. I apologize to all my readers that i haven't been doing anything to my blog lately, hehe.

Last nite, i went to Night Safari with ah ming, alicia, and waihoong. We said to meet at 1830 at choa chu kang mrt, but well, as you all know, without your own transport, it's not easy to reach a destination on time. So, i was late like 15 minutes, but who knows, that couple even worse, and therefore, i got a chance to scold them for arriving late, haha.

We then had our dinner at this food court inside the shopping mall beside the mrt station (sorry that i don't know the name). Waihoong and i ordered some korean food. My dish is called kimchi fried rice and it tastes like shit but anyway, i finished almost 80% of the shit. Shit!

Then we took this 927 bus to the Night Safari and it was so crowded there, we couldn't even board the tram. so, we finally planned to save $8 each by just walking around the Night Safari walking path. (forgot to mention, thanks to alicia that we actually went in without paying a cent, so we save another $28 each, hehe) Ermm....nothing much about the animals, the most remarkable should be the fruit bat that was hanging upside down on a branch 2 feet away from me as well as an animal named "slow loris" that actually was moving on the tree branches in slow motion, haha, damn funny...Then we went on to a super long queue for the "Creature of the night" show, nothing much also. All in all, nothing much in this Night Safari, but since it's free-of-charge, so i don't mind going, hehe.

Then we parted on separate ways. I arrived at boonlay int at 0010, just missed the last 179 and 199 buses to get back to NTU. Then i saw a guy and a gal standing at the 199 queue. I approached the guy and asked if he's a student of NTU, he said he is, then i asked the gal, she isn't but she said she stayed nearby, so i offered both of them to share a cab back. What a genius i am!! haha. The best part began here, as we reach the gal destination, she asked if $2 is enough for her share, i said it's ok even if she doesn't pay. Upon hearing that, the gal was so surprised and double confirmed with me if i really not going to take the money, i said yes. Oh ya, i forgot to mention that the guy is staying in hall 12. Then, when we reached hall 12 bus stop, i just paid for the taxi fare, he looked at me,

i said, "i must be fair".
He then replied, "then if i pay you only fair".
I looked at him and said, "i must be fair to both, you and her, i didn't take hers, so i won't take yours".
He looked shocked and replied me, "are you sure?"
"yes".

As we got down from the taxi, i told him, "thank for your luck that u met me tonight" and i walked off. hehehe. Then later only i realized i missed something important to tell them, haha. I wanted to tell them this, "if u want to repay me, then you can offer the same thing to someone else in the future".

Actually, during my IA, i read a book "Manage to have fun". Everyone likes to be treated well. Try to imagine, if we are offered a ride i mentioned above, how will you feel? personally, i'll definitely feel surprised and weird, but happy. You might think that i'm a bored guy nothing else better to do, but i think it's a good way to spread the fun and happiness around. Hopefully, these 2 can spread the happiness by offering a ride to someone else in the future
